The ocean covers 70 percent of the planet's surface and contains 90 percent of life on Earth. Celebrate the underwater world during Dive for Earth Day this April by joining a local cleanup, coral monitoring project or AWARE Kids event.
Securing Shark Protection
Project AWARE joined fellow Shark Alliance members in Belgium to mark the release of the European Commission’s long-awaited Community Plan of Action (CPOA) for Sharks and comment on its provisions.
Sharks Rule! 2009 AWARE Kids Photo Contest
AWARE Kids ages 3 - 12 are competing for global art contest prizes and helping create awareness for threatened shark populations.
